Aaron Finch scored his third consecutive half-century but was run-out for 50 by Suresh Raina in the 2nd One-Day International against India at Sawai Mansingh Stadium at Jaipur. Australia are 79 for one in 16 overs. Finch hit seven boundaries and one six.
After a sedate start, Phil Hughes continued to be cautious while Finch started attacking the bowlers. He threw is bat at almost anything in his arc. He even completed his half-century with a six over mid-wicket off Vinay Kumar. After that six, he played a ball softly to mid-off and attempted a sharp single. But Raina was quick to react and his throw was accurate.
The opening partnership was threatening India but the run-out has given an opening for the men in Blue to strike back.
On a pitch which had assistance for the fast bowlers, George Bailey won the toss and chose to bat. Both teams went with the same team they played in the first ODI.
