Australia have started well in their run-chase of 268 against India in the second One-Day International (ODI) of the tri-series at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). David Warner and Aaron Finch, the two attacking batsmen are in the middle and have batted like they always do, with the typical aggression.

Both Warner and Finch have been helped by some short bowling. They have been able to pull it very well and with full control. Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav have been bowling fast but have been unable to control their lines and lengths.

Earlier, MS Dhoni had won the toss and elected to bat first. The only change in the Australian team was that Gurinder Sandhu has walked in place of Xavier Doherty. Sandhu is the first man of Indian origin to play for Australia. India did not field Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja. Akshar Patel is in there for Jadeja. Rohit Sharma scored 138 as India put up 267 for eight. Mitchell Starc was the pick of the bowlers with six for 43.
