Virat Kohli has been dismissed by James Faulkner in the second One-Day International (ODI) of the tri-series between India and Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Kohli tried to pull James Faulkner but top edged it and was caught by George Bailey at mid-on. India are now 59 for three in 13 overs.

Rohit Sharma is batting in the middle and seems to be in fair control of his game. India lost early wickets as Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed in the first over as he was caught at slip. And then, Gurinder Sandhu picked his first international wicket by dismissing Ajinkya Rahane. Suresh Raina has walked out and India find themselves in a spot.

Earlier, MS Dhoni had won the toss and elected to bat first. The only change in the Australian team was that Gurinder Sandhu has walked in place of Xavier Doherty. Sandhu is the first man of Indian origin to play for Australia. India did not field Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja. Akshar Patel is in there for Jadeja.
