India opener KL Rahul scored missed century by 10 runs by getting dismissed for 90 in the ongoing second Test between India and Australia at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Had he scored 10 more, this would have been 5th Test century, second against Australia and first at his home ground. Rahul’s consistency has been always a matter of concern. But after his gritty fifty in the first Test and the characteristic innings in this innings is evidence to the fact that he is back in the grove. Rahul is known for his aggressive batting style, but this knock was unlike any other of his previous hundreds. He hit only 9 fours throughout his knock, keeping his strike-rate in 40s.
