Australia‘s batting power-play has been a mixed bag as they lost Shane Watson and Glenn Maxwell. However skipper George Bailey is going strong after his ton as Australia are on 255 for four after 41 overs.

After Watson’s dismissal, Maxwell announced himself with a couple of reverse-sweeps for four. However, he then rocked back to Ravichandran Ashwin and tried to loft him over mid-wicket. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took a brilliant catch there to dismiss the dangerous Maxwell.

But, Bailey was undeterred. Bhuveneshwar was first hit over the leg-side for a four and then placed through the off-side to pick to more boundaries. Bailey motored along to his ton.

Bailey got his ton in the 41st over when he pulled Suresh Raina for a single through square-leg. It is his second one-day ton.
