Australia have summoned James Faulkner to the bowling crease. The Indians have now upped the ante with a few strokes going to the boundary. India are 67 for no loss after 12 overs.

Rohit Sharma has been in great touch as he has laced the off-side with a few boundaries. Clint McKay was cut and driven for four and then Shikhar Dhawan deftly cut one past point for four. There was no third-man and it raced to the ropes.

Dhawan had a stroke of luck as Glenn Maxwell dropped a catch at point. It went straight into his lap, but he grassed it. Will Australia rue that?

Rohit is unbeaten on 28 and Dhawan in on 32.
