# Australia’s 87-run victory is their third largest in terms of runs against India at SCG – the two biggest at this venue are by 208 runs on February 8, 2004 and 100 runs on January 21, 1986.

# Virender Sehwag’s figures of 3 for 43 are his best against Australia in ODIs, bettering the 3 for 59 at Bangalore on March 25, 2001. He has become the second Indian spinner to capture three wickets against Australia at SCG. Venkatapathy Raju had captured 3 for 32 on January 20, 1992.

# Sehwag has recorded his best bowling figures in Australia in ODIs, outstripping the 2 for 40 against Zimbabwe at Hobart on January 14, 2004. His performance is his best outside the subcontinent.

# Ravindra Jadeja could bag just two wickets at 142.00 runs apiece in the present competition.
