Australia’s leg spinning legend Shane Warne found glimpses of the little master Sachin Tendulkar in Virat Kohli‘s match winning innings of unbeaten 82 runs. Warne who was very active on Twitter during the course of the match tweeted about how Kohli’s knock reminded him of the many innings played by Sachin Tendulkar  against him in the past. Warne re-tweeted Tendulkar congratulatory tweet where he congratulated Kohli for his game play. Warne had earlier in the tweeted about how Australia will need to get the wicket of Kohli, if they need to come out as winners. Warne also congratulated Shane Watson, who had announced retirement at the end of Australia’s campaign in the tournament. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, congratulated India on Twitter, over their match-winning performance against Australia, in the Super 10 Group 2, Match 31 of the ongoing ICC World T20 2016 at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium in Mohali on Sunday, as India won the crucial tie by six wickets, and also qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament.

 

 

India next play the West Indies on Thursday in the second semi-final at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
