Ajinkya Rahane and Robin Uthappa continued the good start as India reached 49 for no loss in eight overs. The duo have done well to sneak singles and twos apart from hitting boundaries.

Uthappa hit the first boundary of the innings in the fourth over. There was some miscommunication while running between the wickets but that didn’t deter them from stealing the ones and twos. Rahane too started playing his strokes freely after a cautious start. He hit a boundary in the fifth over and then punished Mashrafe Mortaza in the seventh over with a six and a four.

In the eighth over, Uthappa came down the track and hammerd a pitched up delivery from Al Amin Hossain past mid-off for four.

India are chasing a target of 273 set by Bangladesh. Thanks to some good middle-order performance, Bangladesh managed to overcome a poor start. Mushfiqur Rahim score 59 while Shakib Al Hasan scored 52.
