Indian openers Robin Uthappa and Ajinkya Rahane started off positively in chase of 273 against Bangladesh in the first One-Day International at Dhaka on Sunday. Both the openers have done well to play in the gaps and steal the singles and twos. India are 19 for no loss in four overs.

Uthappa got two boundarues in the fourth over bowled by Al Amin Hossain. Uthappa first deliberately guided one past the slips and then hit straight past mid-on for another four.

Earlier, fifties from skipper Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan powered the team to a challenging total of 272 for nine. The middle order partnerships made up for the stuttering start from the hosts. Indian bowlers did well under humid conditions. Debutant Parvez Rasool picked two wickets while Umesh yadav bagged three.
