Mehidy Hasan gets stung by a wasp
The Green Park Stadium in Kanpur saw Day 2 and Day 3 of the 2nd Test being India and Bangladesh getting washed out, but saw an on-time start of Day 4 on Monday.
Indian bowlers did well and took three wickets of Bangladesh in the first session.
The authorities at the stadium had hired people to keep hungry monkeys, and other animals away from the venue, but can not do anything to keep small insects off the field.
One similar accident happened regarding small insects as while batting, Bangladesh player Mehidy Hasan was playing with Mominul Haque when Hasan suddenly called for the physio and asked for some treatment.
“He has been stung by a wasp,” Murali Karthik informed on air.
