Murali Vijay has been dismissed on 95 in the second innings of the second Test between India and England at Lord’s. Vijay was dismissed caught behind as he edged a good length ball, close to his body through to the wicketkeeper. This now makes India’s task even tougher as they lead by a mere 216.
Vijay had weathered through the storm as England kept chipping away at the wickets. He was determined and picked and chose his deliveries to play his shots. However, this was a rare moment of lapse and he missed out on being on the Lord’s honours board. India had already lost skipper MS Dhoni and Stuart Binny earlier in the day and they are now 240 for seven.
