India are chasing 181 for victory in the only T20 International against England at Edgbaston. At the helf-way mark, they are 89 for one. Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan have batted extremely well to help India keep up with the run-rate. Kohli is getting closer to his half-century.
Moeen Ali came on to bowl the ninth over. Earlier, he was the man who had dismissed Ajinkya Rahane. Dhawan took a single and then Kohli came on and charged to Moeen. That ball went into the stands at mid-wicket. That over went for 10 runs. James Tredwell came back to bowl the tenth over and Kohli went inside out for a four through cover.
Earlier, England won the toss and chose to bat first. Jason Roy made his debut for England. For India, Ambati Rayudu and Karn Sharma made their T20 International debuts. The captains, MS Dhoni and Eoin Morgan are playing their respective 50th T20 Internationals. Morgan has played a few for Ireland though. Dhoni has played 49 of those as captain. Morgan celebrated the occasion with a brilliant 71 run off 31 balls. That innings helped take England to 180 runs. England smashed 81 runs off the last 10 overs.
