Pandya finished with his maiden five-wicket haul and then the batsmen complemented his efforts, adding 124/2 in 31 overs when the bails were drawn on Sunday.
India have drastically improved their chances of keeping the five-Test series alive which they currently trail 0-2. England won the first Test at Edgbaston by 31 runs and then humiliated the visitors in an innings and 159-run victory at the Lord’s.
