England, chasing target of 405, were two down for 87 at the end of Day Four against India at Visakhapatnam. England captain Alastair Cook and youngster Haseeeb Hameed were going strong, building 75-run stand for opening stand. However, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja struck to get the opening wickets. Ashwin had recently completed 50 wickets in a calendar year and with the wicket of Hameed and Zafar Ansari Ashwin surpassed Rangana Herath to surpass tally of 55 wickets in a calendar year. India will only be aiming to dismantle England soon and it cannot get better with Indian spinners taking charge. Ashwin has also achieved 400 runs this year. Ashwin was on a hat-trick on Day Four after grabbing two wickets on Day Two of James Anderson and Stuart Broad to end their innings. However, he missed the opportunity on Day Four and got just a wicket to secured 51 wickets. On Day Five, Ashwin was at it once again and got the wicket of Ben Duckett to provide India an early start. England, in contrast have lost two wickets more in the first session of the final day, placing England on a precarious condition.

India had decent outing in the second innings with Virat Kohli being the only highest run-scorer for the side with his knock of 81. But there were some crucial runs being chipped in from newbie Jayant Yadav and tail-ender Mohammed Shami, with 42-run stand for the tenth wicket.

England also had their share of laugh when Staurt Broad and Adil Rashid bagged four wickets each to bundle out India for 204 providing target of 405 against England.
