Abhishek Sharma’s blistering knock finally comes to an end. The batter heads back to the dugout after scoring 135 runs from just 54 deliveries. This incredible knock saw him hit 7 boundaries and 13 towering sixes. India now 237/7 after 18 overs.
Pandya gets dismissed
Mark Wood gets his second wicket of the day and it comes in the form of Hardik Pandya. The batter gets dismissed after scoring 9 runs off 6 deliveries as Liam Livingstone takes a great catch.
Dube departs
Shivam Dube departs after playing a fiery cameo of 30 balls off 13 deliveries. Brydon Carse gets his third wicket of the day and it sees India get restricted to 182/4.

It has been a series to forget for the India skipper and his woeful form in the shortest format continues as he departs after scoring just a single run. Carse gets his second wicket of the day to restrict India to 145/3 after 10.2 overs.

India left-handed opener Abhishek Sharma has completed his century from just 37 deliveries. This is the third-fastest century ever scored by an Indian in the format.
Varma departs
Tilak Varma departs after playing a decent cameo of 24 runs from 15 deliveries. Brydon Carse gets the big wicket to restrict India to 136/2 after 9 overs.
The powerplay concludes
The powerplay has come to an end here in the fifth T20I and these first 6 overs have been totally dominated by the Indian batters. Abhishek Sharma is currently batting on 58 while Tilak Varma is batting on 19 and India have reached a total of 95/1.
