Hosts India face off against visitors England on Day One of the fourth match of the ongoing five-Test series at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, on Friday. The live cricket streaming of the match is available online on Hotstar, while the live telecast of the match is available on Star Sports 1 and Star Sports HD1, along with the Hindi commentary on Star Sports 3 and Star Sports HD3. In England, the streaming is available on, while the live telecast will be available on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD. England were off to a steady start on Day One, as they were 288 for 5 at stumps.

Earlier on Day One, Keaton Jennings became the third English batsman in the history to score a ton on debut versus India. England, trailing the five-Test series 0-2, were off to a steady start, as they looked to post a mammoth total on the board in the opening innings. Alastair Cook won the toss and elected to bat. The track supported the batsmen with the odd ball turning. England were off to an impressive start before things started to turn in favour of the bowlers with pacers finding bounce and spinners turning it away. Despite the conditions, Jennings overcame all odds and was involved in three crucial partnerships with Cook, Joe Root and Moeen Ali. However, it was the Indian spinners, especially Ravichandran Ashwin, who took control by the end of the day.

When we played against England last here, the morning of the first day wicket was a bit damp, it spun a little and it was absolutely flat on day 2 and 3. I see very similar traits here. We got out of jail and got to 330-340 the last time we played them here. If we could have got one more wicket, we were on the course to do that [it would have been better], but probably we will come out tomorrow morning and try and snap couple of wickets and see how quickly we can stall their innings, said Ashwin, who picked up 4 of the 5 English wickets to fall..

I suppose waking up this morning if someone said to me you will get a Test-match hundred, I would have put them off. I woke up at 5 o clock this morning thinking I will miss the bus. So I jumped out of bed, settled myself down and then I saw the time. It s been a dream-come-true and surreal that it s come on debut, said Jennings. “Thankfully it kind of hit his hand and got out. I had a little bit of luck but I suppose that s the way the game goes sometimes. I am really thankful that the day has gone the way it has. When the ball lifted up to gully my heart was in my mouth and just thought you got a naught in your first innings. But thankfully it went to ground,” he added.

Meanwhile, it would be interesting to see how things pan out on Day Two, especially in the opening session, as India would be backing to get the remaining 5 English wickets and see off with their innings.
