India came out fighting and won the second Test against England at Visakhapatnam only to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. They won the high-voltage encounter by a whopping margin of 246 runs and scripted history. Indian speedster Mohammed Shami bowled magnificently and had three wickets in a match where Indian spinners inflicted massive damage. He earned accolades from across the globe for scalping the wicket of English skipper Alastair Cook in the first innings as he bowled to a plan. He beautifully set up Cook with outswinging deliveries after which cleaned him up with a splendid in-swinger. Cook has a knack of scoring big and can put the opposition under immense pressure with his astuteness. The wicket of Cook was a perfect example of swing bowling with the new ball and Shami was wise enough to bring it into use. In a video posted by bcci.tv, Shami opened up on many things including Indai’s 246-runs win at Vizag, how he implemented Cook’s wicket, on his enhancement as a bowler. He also set up Joe Root beautifully in the second innings and took Adil Rashid for a surprise with a beauty. Shami also spoke about his partnership with Umesh Yadav with the new ball.
