Vijay Zol and Deepak Hooda put up 50-run stand to pull India out of early trouble in their ICC Under-19 World Cup 2014 quarterfinal encounter against England at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The batsmen are gradually accelerating after spending some time in the middle and are trying to attack the spinners. At the end of 29 overs, India are 87 for four.

India had lost their top four inside the first ten overs and have been trying to recover since then. However, they also have had few strokes of luck. Zol was dropped early in his innings when he lobbed a catch back to the bowler, who failed to hold on. However, the most glaring chance came when Hooda was dropped off Ryan Higgins at mid-on by Ed Bernard.

Hooda tried to pull the ball and it lobbed to mid-on for what looked like a simple catch. With the sun straight in his eyes, Bernard failed to judge it and grassed it.
