Earlier, New Zealand were bowled out for 190 in 43.5 overs with Tom Latham scoring 79 not out and Tim Southee smashing his first-ever half-century in One-Day International cricket. They added 71 runs for the ninth wicket, which not only took New Zealand past the 150-run mark but also threatened to spoil India s party after the hosts had the visitors reeling at 65 for 7 at one stage. Amit Mishra playing in just his 32nd ODI for India, recorded his 50th wicket. Mishra scalped the wicket of New Zealand s Doug Bracewell who got out after making 15 runs.
