It’s official, play for the first day has now been called off. Though the rain had subsided, it would have been almost impossible for the groundsmen to dry the wet field in time. Looking at the conditions, officials have decided to abandon the match.

The rain has subsided and the groundsmen have already made their way onto the pitch in order to inspect it. Let’s hope that the drizzle stays away for some time so that we can be in for some action.

After a brief period where there was no rain at the M. Chinaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, the weather conditions have again gotten bad. The groundstaff had just started to inspect the ground before the rain shower started again. There is no inspection going on at the moment.
