New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson departed after making valuable 41 run against India in the fourth tie of the fifth One-Day International (ODI) series. Williamson who came in after the fall of Martin Guptill added 46 runs for the third wicket with Ross Taylor.Williamson contributed 25 runs in the partnership also had a 42 run stand with Guptill. Williamson added 16 runs in the stand. Williamson got out to Mishra trying to cut the ball. Mishra extracted extra bounce and gets Williamson to edge to the keeper. New Zealand were soon hampered by India getting the wicket of James Neesham for 6. New Zealand are currently 195 for 4 with Ross Taylor and BJ Watling batting on 21* and 2* runs respectively. Martin Guptill narrowly missed out on his fourth century ODI. Guptill added 72 runs in 84 ball which included 12 boundaries. Hardik Pandya got the wicket of Guptill who looked good for his fourth ODI century. Guptill looked to drive the ball on the up giving keeper Dhoni a simple catch. After batting for 15.3 long overs Tom Latham departed making a sturdy 38 runs in a partnership of 96 runs with Guptill. Akshar Patel picked up the key wicket as Latham went for a sweep holding out to Ajinkya Rahane.

New Zealand made 3 changes to their side while India made just one. New Zealand have drafted in Ish Sodhi, Anton Devcich and BJ Watling in place of Matt Henry and Luke Ronchi in their playing XI. India have made one chance in the form of Dhaval Kulkarni coming in the team for the injured Jasprit Bumrah.

India are currently leading the series 2-1 after winning the third ODI at Mohali. India had drew first blow winning the first ODI at Dharamsala, with New Zealand making a comeback at Delhi leveling the series 1-1. The fifth and final ODI will be played at Visakhapatnam.
