Sanju Samson and Sarfaraz Khan have put up an unbeaten 59-run stand as India Under-19 reached 153 for four after 35 overs against Pakistan in the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2014 match at Dubai.

Samson is batting on 39 off 72 balls, accompanied by Sarfaraz on 34.

Samson hit a six off Karamat Ali and Sarfaraz hit a boundary to provide their side some much-needed momentum as they lost quick wickets in the middle. That six from Samson was a hit for boundary or more after as many as 93 balls.

Earlier, India were struggling at 94 for four after 20 overs as Akhil Herwadkar fell in the 18th over, after a fluent knock of 41.  Leg spinner Karamat Ali claimed two wickets in quick succession as India slipped from 64 for no loss in the eighth over to for four after 20.

Herwadkar, trying to play a cut shot, made room but completely missed the ball as Karamat Ali bagged a wicket in his first over of the match. Ricky Bhui was caught and bowled in the 20th over.
