South Africa reached for 58 two after nine overs in their ICC World T20 2014 semi-final at Dhaka on Friday. JP Duminy was batting on six, while the Protea captain Faf du Plessis was on 19 not out. The two batsmen have so far added 14 runs for the third wicket.

South Africa lost their star batsman Hashim Amla, who was bowled on a carrom ball by the ace India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. This wicket came at a crucial interval as India got rid of the in-form batsman. Amla struck four boundaries to scored 22 runs off 16 balls.

Earlier in the day, South Africa captain Faf du Plessis won the toss and elected to bat against India in the second semi-final of the ICC World T20 2014 tournament at the Sher-E-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Friday.

Both South Africa and India fielded an unchanged side for the clash. The winner of the game will take on Sri Lanka in the final of the T20 World Cup at the same venue on Sunday, April 6.
