Mahela Jayawardene showed his class once again as he scored his 17th hundred in One-day International (ODI) in the third ODI against India in Hyderabad. He held one end up and on the other end, Sri Lanka kept losing wickets. They were struggling and only managed to score 184 for 7 after 40 overs.
Mahela Jayawardene was the lone man fighting for Sri Lanka out there. Earlier Priyanjan tried to go over the top as Akshar Patel bowled one full. However, he did not get all of it and he hit it straight down mid-on’s throat. This is the second wicket in the batting powerplay as Angelo Mathews was dismissed before.
Earlier, Angelo Mathews won the toss and elected to bat. Chathuranga de Silva and Nuwan Kulasekara came in for Suraj Randiv and Dhammika Prasad. For India Dhawal Kulkarni came in place of Ravindra Jadeja.
