Sri Lanka have stabilised courtesy Mahela Jayawardene and Tillakaratne Dilshan in the third One-Day International (ODI) against India at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. In 14 overs, they are 61 for two.

Dilshan got Sri Lanka to their fifty as he played one through fine-leg for a four. That was well played as Dhawal Kulkarni bowled on the legs and he worked it through fine-leg. Mahela Jayawardene then smashed one over mid-wicket for a four to bring up the fifty partnership. This stand has brought some much needed stability in this innings.

Earlier, Angelo Mathews won the toss and elected to bat. Chathuranga de Silva and Nuwan Kulasekara came in for Suraj Randiv and Dhammika Prasad. For India Dhawal Kulkarni came in place of Ravindra Jadeja.
