The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday announced the venues for the three-match Twenty20 series between India and Sri Lanka, to be played in February 2016. The three T20 Internationals will be played at Visakhapatnam, Pune and New Delhi.

The BCCI announced on Sunday evening in a press release, “The Tour Programme and Fixtures Committee of the BCCI met in Kolkata earlier today to finalise the venues for South Africa and Sri Lanka’s tours of India in 2015-16. South Africa will play 4 Test matches, 5 One-Day Internationals and 3 T20 Internationals in the months of October and November 2015. Sri Lanka will play 3 T20 Internationals in February 2016.”

India will be hosting the ICC World T20 2016 and the series against Sri Lanka will certainly give these two Asian giants to prepare for the tournament in the best possible manner. The next year’s event has ensured that all teams participating will be playing a lot of international T20s as a build up to it.
