Sri Lanka achieved the team 100 in the 22nd over of the second One-Day International (ODI) played between India and Sri Lanka at Ahmedabad on Thursday.

Angelo Mathews the new man and Sangakkara looked at ease against spinners. There were a few boundaries hit after the dismissal of Dilshan. Ashwin who conceded 18 runs in his first over got the important wicket of Jayawardena. India got an early breakthrough as Umesh Yadav sprayed a delivery on the middle stump which Perera missed.  Sri Lanka was reduced to four for one after the first over bowled by Umesh Yadav. Tillakaratne Dilshan managed to get two boundaries in the third over bowled by Yadav. Ishant Yadav bowled a good fourth over as he got good bounce from the Ahemdabad track. The over went for only a single run.

After the wicket of Perera, Sangakkara and Dilshan steadied the Sri Lanka innings they were slow but made sure that they didn’t lose any more wickets. Dilshan was bowled by Akshar Patel after he tried to cut a quicker delivery from Patel.

Sri Lanka was 113 for 3 after 23 overs.
