Ravindra Jadeja rattled the Sri Lankan middle-order removing Mahela Jayawardene and Dinesh Chandimal in consecutive deliveries. Mohammed Shami came back into the attack for his third spell and struck with the wicket of skipper Angelo Mathews for six. Sri Lanka are 191 for six in 40 overs. Kumar Sangakkara completed his 85th One-Day International (ODI) half-century

Sri Lanka were cruising along with Kusal Perera and Kumar Sangakkara. Ravichandran Ashwin managed to find the edge of Perera and was gone for 64. Jayawardene is going through a rough patch and looked to get his eye in. It was a soft dismissal when he fluently drove straight to Rohit Sharma at mid-off.

Jadeja continued to dominate when he went past the outside edge of new batsman Dinesh Chandimal to send him back for a golden duck. Withing quicktime, Shami trapped Mathews leg-before. He was trying to shuffle across and was hit low on the pads.
