Sri Lanka have lost three quick wickets early on in their innings in the form of Dinesh Chandimal and Shehan Jayasuriya in their all-important league match against India in Asia Cup 2016. Ashish Nehra and Jasprit Bumrah took the wickets.  India captain MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first. Sri Lanka started well as Dinesh Chanidmal smashed a boundary off the second ball of the innings bowled by Ashish Nehra. It was a widish fuller delivery and Chandimal latched on it pretty well. Nehra came back with four dot balls to end the over. The ball was swinging quite a lot. Jasprit Bumrah bowled the second over and was mixing up his balls quite a lot. He bowled length balls, yorker  and balls outside off. Nehra then bowled a short of length inswinger and Chandimal got a faint inside edge back to the wicketkeeper Dhoni. The left-hander Shehan Jayasuriya then came to the middle and got off the mark on his first ball by pushing it towards the mid-off region for a cheeky single. LIVE CRICKET SCORECARD: India vs Sri Lanka, Asia Cup 2016, Match 7 at Dhaka

Dilshan in his usual self, then hit Bumrah for a four at fine leg through his trademark Dilscoop. He followed it up with a single over short fine leg. Jayasuriya then edged the ball back to the keeper. Dhoni was not sure but the bowler Bumrah appealed and the umpire concurred with him. Kapugedera then attempted a few defencive shots but was not make any contact with the ball. Nehra came back; this time Dilshan was on strike. Nehra then slightly drifted in his line a bit bowling two wides. He appealed for a leg-before next delivery but the ball was clearly missing the off stump as Dilshan attempted a flick but failed to make contact with the ball. Hardik Pandya then scalped Dilshan off his first ball. Sri Lanka were 31/3 after 6.1 overs.
