Although Virat Kohli scored a well-paced 77, India couldn’t get going and have managed a modest score. Sri Lanka would now fancy their chances of winning their first World T20 in three final appearances, unless India pull a rabbit out of the hat. MS Dhoni remained unbeaten on four.

The toss for the ICC World ICC World T20 2014 final between India and Sri Lanka at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday was delayed due to rain. The toss was delayed by Sri Lanka captain Lasith Malinga, who elected to field.
