Rohit Sharma was caught by Sachithra Senanayake off Rangana Herath in the 11th over as India reached 65 for two in their ICC World T20 2014 final at Dhaka. Rohit struck three boundaries to score 29 runs off 26 balls. Virat Kohli is looking aggressive as he is batting on 31 off as many balls.

 

Sri Lanka captain Lasith Malinga provided a lifeline to Virat Kohli when he dropped him on the first ball of the seventh over off Rangana Herath. Malinga was fielding at short midwicket and jumped a little early. Kohli signed off the over with a six over long-on.

 

The toss for the ICC World ICC World T20 2014 final between India and Sri Lanka at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday was delayed due to rain. The toss was delayed by Sri Lanka captain Lasith Malinga, who elected to field.

 

Sri Lanka made one change in their side, bringing in Thisara Perera in place of Seekugge Prasanna. India, on the other hand, retained their playing eleven.
