Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are in firm control of the run-chase in the first One-Day International (ODI) between India and West Indies at Nehru Stadium, Kochi. Kohli too got his fifty and India are 144 for one in 24 overs chasing 212 to win.

Both batsmen have been picking the singles and have also hit the boundaries to keep the scoring rate going. Lendl Simmons has been brought into the attack, but Rohit has picked an easy boundary off him. The strokeplay through the off-side in particular has been a delight to watch.

Rohit is batting on 71, while Kohli is unbeaten on 51.
