Rohit Sharma has been dismissed for 72 in the first One-Day International (ODI) between India and the West Indies at Kochi. Chasing 159 for two in 26 overs. Virat Kohli is batting on 56.

After the early loss of Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit and Kohli had taken full control of the run-chase. Both batsmen had been picking the singles and had also hit the boundaries to keep the scoring rate going. Lendl Simmons has been brought into the attack, but Rohit has picked an easy boundary off him. The strokeplay through the off-side in particular has been a delight to watch.

At the start of the 25th over, the batting power-play was taken and Rohit spooned a catch to deep square leg of Ravi Rampaul.
