West Indies have slowed down a touch after the fall of Johnson Charles in the first One-Day International (ODI) against India at Kochi. At the end of 18 overs, West Indies are 92 for three. Darren Bravo is batting on 18 and Lendl Simmons is on six.
Marlon Samuels was dismissed for 24 by Suresh Raina as one kept low and got through his defence. Samuels was on the back-foot and it got through before his bat could come down. Bravo survived a bat-pad appeal off Ravindra Jadeja as the umpire ruled it not out.
Bravo got things going by smashing a six over long-off.
