India vs West Indies 1st Test, Day 2: Rohit Sharma completes fifty on debut

Rohit Sharma completed his half-century on debut to take India to on Day Two of first Test between India and West Indies at Eden Gardens. India are 198 for the loss of six wickets. Rohit completed his fifty 95 balls.
 
Rohit carved his innings cautiously as spinners dominated for most part of the day. Rohit walked when the entire Eden Gardens held their head in disappointment as Sachin Tendulkar was out leg-before for 10.
 
Soon after, India were down to 83 for the loss of five wickets. From thereon, Rohit and MS Dhoni resurrected the Indian innings and went into lunch at 120 for five. In the second session, both the batsmen batted positively.
