The Eden Gardens crowd went berserk as Sachin Tendulkar came out to bat for the first time in his 199th Test. Tendulkar walked in at the dismissal of Murali Vijay for 26. India are 58 for the loss of two wickets on Day Two of the first Test at Eden Gardens against West Indies.

Vijay tried to step forward and go for a stroke but missed the line of the ball completely and was stumped behind the wicket by Denesh Ramdin. It was ironical to see the crowd cheer at the fall of a Indian wicket as they were anxious to see their favourite player Tendulkar come out to bat.

There will be enormous pressure on the batsman playing his penultimate Test match.
