West Indies slumped to 125 for five after Tea on Day Three of the first Test against India. MS Dhoni began after team with Ravichandran Ashwin who got the wicket of Darren Bravo (37) while Mohammed Shami bowled brilliantly with the old ball to get Denesh Ramdin (1).
After some close calls, Ashwin got a ball to turn and bounce to which Bravo offered a loose uppish shot which flew straight to Virat Kohli. He scored 37 runs. Shami then bowled a brilliant spell moving the ball both ways. He even troubled Shivnarine Chanderpaul with accurate deliveries which the experienced batsmen found trouble in dealing with. He set up Ramdin beatufully placing a forward shortleg fielder and the batsman eventually failed to keep his shot down and the inside edge was caught by Murali Vijay.
With five down, the West Indies tail has been exposed and are staring towards an innings defeat.
