After dismissing West Indies for 182, Indian openers Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan got the team off to a steady start scoring at a brisk rate. India reached 38 for no loss in the second Test at Wankhede Stadium.

Both Vijay and Dhawan have hit four boundaries each. Earlier Pragyan Ojha bagged a five-for to floor West Indies. Post lunch the visitors looked completely out-of-sorts as they struggled to read the spinners.

Kieran Powell was the first to go post lunch and ever since then, there was a flurry of wickets. Bhuvneshwar Kumar managed to get the big wicket of Shivnarine Chanderpaul for 19.
