Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Denesh Ramdin have reduced the deficit for West Indies to 170 by adding a 54-runs partnership for the seventh wicket. West Indies are at 143 for six in 35 overs on Day Three of the second Test against India in their second innings.

Chanderpaul was batting on 36 off 55 balls and Ramdin was on 24 off 35 balls. Chanderpaul has struck four fours in his innings. Ramdin scored four fours and a six.

After West Indies lost three wickets early on Day Three at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, the duo have steadied the ship for West Indies. India, though, will be looking to wrap things up early with an innings victory in Sachin Tendulkar’s 200th and final Test.
