India vs West Indies 2013: Additional police provided for 3rd ODI at Kanpur

Add Cricket Country as a Preferred Source

Additional police force has been made available to Kanpur for stepping up security at the Green Park stadium for the One-Day International  (ODI) cricket match against West Indies on November 27.

“Two SPs, eight Additional SPs, 16 DySPs, 100 Sub- Inspectors, 12 companies of PAC, 4 companies of RAF and two teams of commandos and traffic police have been provided to Kanpur,” IG law and order R K Vishkarma said.

A company has roughly 100 personnel.

This is in addition to the force available at the range and zonal levels, he said.
