Kohli and co meet Viv Richards ahead of 1st Test

Ahead of their first Test against West Indies at Antigua, Virat Kohli and his teammates were seen meeting Windies great Viv Richards. In series of images posted by Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) on Twitter, Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Murali Vijay and Ajinkya Rahane can be seen listening and taking inputs from the legendary batsman. Richards was considered one of the greatest and most feared batsman of his time, and till date, remains arguably the most destructive opener. The Indian team are on the tour to Caribbean to play four Tests against West Indies. The first Test will kickstart on July 21 at Antigua. The remaining three Tests will take place Jamaica, St Lucia and Trinidad respectively. Kohli will lead the visiting side, whereas Jason Holder is the skipper of the host nation.

This tour is the first for Anil Kumble since becoming the head coach of India. India have prepared well since they stepped foot in the Caribbean. They have played two tour games before the start of the Test series. On both the occasions, the match ended in draw, but their were positive signs for the visiting team.
