After a thumping eight-wicket win in the first ODI against West Indies in Guwahati, India were made to settle for a draw in the second one-dayer at Visakhapatnam. The West Indies, oozing with confidence after levelling the scores in their previous match, will be itching to cross the finish line in the third ODI at Pune on Saturday.

India pacers Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav were off colour in the two ODIs going for 282 runs. However, for the remaining three ODIs, the premier pace bowling duo of Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were named in the 15-man squad with Shami as the only omission.

With the Pune pitch traditionally known to assist batsmen, it be interesting to know how West Indies’ in form batters – Shimron Hetmyer and Shai Hope – face Bumrah and Bhuvnehwar, who were rested from the Test series due to excessive workload keeping in mind the ICC World Cup next year.

With only 16 ODIs left for the 50-over showpiece event, India would want to fine tune their bowling armoury and hope MS Dhoni, who has just scores of 16, 52*, 12, 11 and 32* this year, gets runs under his belt. Click here for the full preview.
