Darren Bravo and Kieran Powell looked in good touch as they stabilised West Indies’ innings after they were jolted by two quick wickets to take them to 67 for two in 12 overs in the second One-Day International (ODI) against India at Visakhapatnam on Sunday.

Darren Bravo was at his elegant best playing good-looking drives for boundaries. He was strict towards anything that was bowled on the off-side. However, Mohit Sharma continued to tempt him bowling outside off with a packed field on that side.

By the end of the Powerplay, the visitors had smashed 12 boundaries as compared to India’s 10 at the same stage.

With dew expected to play a critical role in the match, Ravichandran Ashwin was introduced as early as the 11th over. He started off with a maiden over.
