India pacer Mohit Sharma jolted the West Indies when he had their key batsman Marlon Samuels caught behind the wickets by MS Dhoni, in the second ODI at Visakhapatnam on Sunday.

The West Indies have stumbled to 23 for two after six overs, chasing 289 to win.

The first wicket fell in the third over of the chase, when Bhuvneshwar Kumar struck to remove West Indies opener Johnson Charles

Charles fell after a brisk knock of 12 off nine balls, studded with two boundaries in the third over of the match. He gave a return catch to Bhuvneshwar while the bowler was in his follow-through.

The West Indies were 15 for one after four overs.

Earlier in the day, Virat Kohli missed out on his 18th century and skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni smashed a brisk 51 not out, as India posted a daunting total of 288 for seven.

Put in to bat first, India’s batsmen barring Kohli and Dhoni failed to convert starts into big scores as the West Indies bowlers were impressive. Ravi Rampaul was the pick among the bowlers as he claimed four wickets for 60 runs off his 10 overs. This is Rampaul’s third best performance of his career against India.
