West Indies spinner Shane Shillingford on Friday registered his fifth consecutive five-wicket haul in Test cricket, during the second day’s play between India and the West Indies at Wankhede Stadium.

Shillingford claimed the wickets of Indian batsmen Shikhar Dhawan, Murali Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

In the first Test match of the series at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, Shillingford had registered the figures of six for 167 as the Caribbean side lost the match by an innings and 51 runs.

The 22-year-old West Indies spinner has achieved the feat in only 11 Test matches that he has played so far.
