Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live cricket blog and live cricket updates’ post of the first day’s play between India and West Indies, in the third Test, at the Darren Sammy International Stadium. India currently lead their four-Test series against West Indies 1-0, having won the first Test by an innings and 92 runs at Antigua. The second Test ended in a tame draw with the hosts fighting for their pride on the final day and enforcing a draw in a contest which India looked certain to win. Roston Chase stood tall with a splendid fifth-day century and a five-wicket haul earlier in the match which helped him to earn a draw for his side.
