India vs West Indies 3rd Test: KL Rahul dismissed for 50

KL Rahul slammed his fourth half-century in Test career as he helped India revive from early blows, in the first session of the first day’s play against West Indies in the third Test at St Lucia. Rahul, who scored a fantastic 158 in the second of this four-Test series, carried on his good form as he slammed 6 boundaries to score 50 off 65 balls, but fell immediately after. Rahul also formed a crucial stand for the third wicket with Ajinkya Rahane, as the pair added 58 runs for the third wicket to keep India steady against some quality seam bowling. Earlier,  Shikhar Dhawan chased one down the leg and was caught behind in the third over of the first day’s play, between India and West Indies in the third Test at St Lucia. Dhawan was caught for 1 off 4 balls off Shannon Gabriel, behind the wickets by Shane Dowrich. It were the West Indies who won the toss and elected to field first, on a wicket that had a little bit of grass. Both the teams made a couple of changes for the third Test of this four-match series, which India lead by 1-0 having won the opening contest by an innings and 92 runs.
