Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s coverage of the fourth and final Test between India and West Indies at Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. India have already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series after winning comfortably at Antigua and most recently in St Lucia. India will still want to win this match as it will give them an opportunity to retain their No. 1 Test position, which was handed to them after Australia were whitewashed by Sri Lanka recently. West Indies on the other hand have nothing but pride to play for and will come all guns blazing in this match as well. Full Cricket Scorecard: India vs West Indies, 4th Test match

Rain is expected to play spoilsport in this Test as well, like it did at Kingston in the second Test, which ended up being a draw. It will be interesting to see if India play the same team from the third Test. Virat Kohli had suggested that he is willing to back Rohit Sharma and does not mind batting at No. 3 to accommodate him. Their experiment of playing Ravichandran Ashwin at No. 4 has paid off so far as he has struck two centuries in that position already. India vs West Indies 4th Test: Preview

West Indies on the other hand have a lot of problems. Their batting unit has not clicked in the tournament so far. They did offer some resistance in the second Test at Jamaica, other than that they have had very little to cheer about. They however did bowl well in the third Test, but the sixth wicket partnership between Ashwin and Wriddhiman Saha took the match away from them.

Will we see West Indies get a consolation win or will India continue to dominate this match as well? Let’s find out!

West Indies: Jason Holder (c), Kraigg Brathwaite, Devendra Bishoo, Jermaine Blackwood, Carlos Brathwaite, Darren Bravo, Roston Chase, Miguel Cummins, Shane Dowrich (wk), Shannon Gabriel, Shai Hope, Leon Johnson, Alzarri Joseph, Marlon Samuels.
