West Indies, the runners-up from 2013 edition and T20 World Cup 2016 champions, have task on hand. They lost the three-match ODI series against India in November 2016. However, India’s concern then was an unstable opening pair. But India still face problem of plenty as Smriti Mandhana’s comeback has left Deepti Sharma’s spot in fix.
